Nick diodato is a filmmaker based in New Brunswick, nj. his films center around surrealism and lower-class mundanity. he works as a filmmaker, documentarian, and editor. Currently, he is working for the Documentary Film Lab as a sound editor and a research intern at ALL ages productions.

his short film my plastic lung is currently in the festival circuit and is being adapted into a feature length screenplay. outside of film, he has joined artist Rita Leduc as a research assistant and documentarian for major field stations at rutgers university.

His work has been shown at the TriFest International Film Festival, the New Jersey International Film Festival (2024, 2026), New Lens Film Festival (2025, 2026), First Take Shorts Fest (2026), Peekskill Film Festival. He is a Gotham Edu 2026 narrative fellow.
